Description
Product overview
TB-500 is a synthetic peptide derived from the active region (residues 17-23) of thymosin beta-4 (TB4) — a 43 amino-acid actin-sequestering protein. Supplied as 10mg lyophilised per vial. One of the most-cited peptides in cell migration, cardiomyocyte recovery and vascular repair research.
Research mechanism
- G-actin sequestering — binds monomeric actin, regulates filament polymerisation timing
- Cell migration enhancement via cytoskeletal remodelling
- Endothelial cell migration and angiogenesis
- Anti-inflammatory cytokine modulation
Research applications
- Cardiomyocyte and vascular repair research
- Wound healing and dermal regeneration studies
- Tendon and ligament research
- Cytoskeletal pharmacology models
